Question by Gene H: How do I uninstall Yahoo Desktop Search program?
Since I installed this on 1-12-07, my internet connection always gives me errors when shutting down. There is no uninstall provision in the Add-Remove Programs application

Fastest way is:
Open IExplorer>select Tools menu> select manage add-ons >select enable or disable add ons> in show scroll window choose show add-ons currently loaded in Internet explorer >from the enabled files select all those related to the yahoo desktop > and press disable> OK> Restart IExplorer.
IF THIS WORKS WHICH IT SHOULD CLOSE IEXPLORER AND PROCEED TO UNINSTALL THE PROGRAM.
Find with Windows Explorer the Yahoo Desk exe or whatever the program is called. Delete its whole folder completely.
or
Start>run>regedit> find string “yahoo desktop search ” or whatever is the name of programs and delete any line in the registry related to the yahoo desktop.
Restart machine. you should be OK and successfully removed the problem!
